The obverse design showcases Weinman’s legendary Walking Liberty, originally created for the U.S. half dollar in 1916. Liberty’s full-length figure strides toward the horizon draped in the American flag, her right arm extended and her left carrying branches of oak and laurel, a timeless symbol of freedom and strength.
The reverse features Emily Damstra’s modern bald eagle design, introduced in 2020 and first released in 2021. The eagle is captured in mid-flight with wings raised, clutching both the arrows of war and the olive branch of peace, representing the nation’s readiness and commitment to peace.
American Silver Eagles have been issued annually by the U.S. Mint since 1986. Over four decades, they have remained a core part of the Mint’s bullion program, with production reaching its peak in 2015 when 47 million coins were released. The 2026 1 oz Silver Eagle continues this legacy, offering investors and collectors a classic, globally recognized silver bullion coin in Brilliant Uncirculated condition
