Burnished American Eagles are among the rarest American Eagles minted. These coins have been produced since 2006. Due to their short history, rarity, and growth potential, the market has only recently started taking notice in the past few years. We always seek the best opportunities to protect our clients, and we take this responsibility seriously. We believe now is the perfect time for you to add these coins to your holdings before the market supply dries up.
As one of the largest bulk purchasers from the U.S. Mint, the United States Gold Bureau’s buying power benefits our customers. These coins will be graded in perfect MS70 condition by NGC and will feature the signature of Ed Moy, the 38th Director of the U.S. Mint, with whom the United States Gold Bureau has an exclusive signature label agreement.
"Burnished" describes the coin manufacturing process. It begins with the blanks being tumbled with tiny bead-sized steel balls before heading to the coin press. The burnished coin blanks are then hand-fed into specially adapted coin presses one at a time. This unique manufacturing process gives the coins a stunning, matte-like finish. These coins are further distinguished from bullion coins by the presence of the "W" mint mark, indicating they were struck at the West Point Mint. The mintages are lower because producing a burnished coin is a very labor-intensive and expensive process.
