Description:

The globally renowned PAMP, or Produits Artistiques Métaux Précieux, is the precious metals producer behind this 50 gram gold bar. This piece has the distinction of having been not minted, but instead cast; this has given each bar a rough and unfinished appearance rather than a smooth sheen.

PAMP was established in the southern Switzerland canton Ticino in 1977. Over the years, PAMP has become strongly associated with quality and purity, which the company has an excellent record of bringing to its precious metal products. It hasn't faltered in these departments when producing this 50 gram bar, which consists of 1.608 Troy ounces of .9999 pure gold.

Indeed, the name "Produits Artistiques Métaux Précieux" actually translates into "artistic precious metals products". Many different people and organizations clearly appreciate the work of this precious metals fabricating firm, which now leads the global market for gold bars of 50 grams or less.

The company also custom mints products, including bars, medals and legal tender coins, for government mints and private businesses. This reflects PAMP's formidable global reputation; however, when you enjoy a feeling of sophisticated craftsmanship as you handle one of the company's 50 gram gold casted bars, it is casting, not minting, which should be thanked.

Casting involves pouring molten gold into a rough mold, rather than the smoother mold used when minting bars, before letting the substance cool. As a result, this casted gold bar has a less pristine texture, even on its edges. A rustic aura is exuded - and, in some cases, is genuinely preferred to the minted bars' surface, which will typically look more carefully made and to more exact standards.

When you receive a 50 gram gold casted PAMP bar that, availability permitting, has come from our organization's stock, bundled with that piece will be an Assay certificate verifying its purity and authenticity. The gold used in each bar is 24 karat.

Each bar also includes, on its obverse, imprints of the PAMP logo and the bar's purity and weight. The bar's serial number and the phrase "Essayeur Fondeur" can also be seen here. Turn over the bar to its reverse side and you will see no markings; instead, just a blank surface with a matte finish.

The bar is also eligible for inclusion in an IRA account of precious metals. If this interests you due to the tax-related benefits, we urge you to contact an investment specialist here at U.S. Gold Bureau to learn what you need to do to realize these benefits. You can call that specialist on (800) 775-3504.

You can both diversify and solidify an investment portfolio when you bolster it with the addition of gold, the price of which fluctuates only minimally. Furthermore, you can be confident that the value will gradually appreciate - making gold a great metal to keep in that portfolio over the long term.

Features of the 50 Gram Gold Casted Pamp Bar:

  • A rustic, rather than highly refined, look
