America the Beautiful 5-oz Silver Bullion Certified Coins
The U.S. Mint released the America the Beautiful 5-ounce Silver Bullion Coins in December of 2010.
Each coin is 5 ounces, making them "large format coins." They are about as wide as the palm of your hand, or the rim of a coffee cup, which makes them extremely unique.
The designs are replicas of the highly successful America the Beautiful circulating quarters. They feature the standard Washington Quarter front (obverse) and a different national park of the back (reverse).
Because of the unique coin format and the surge in demand, the America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coins are considered superior investment grade coins.
