Lou Hoover was the wife of President Herbert Hoover and served as the first lady of the United States from 1929 to 1933. Mrs. Hoover really stood out by being the first First Lady to do radio broadcast nationwide on a regular basis. Mrs Hoover passed away on January 7, 1944 at the age of 69 in New York.
