Minted from 1908 to 1929, this coin stands out with its distinctive incuse design. Comprised of 90% gold and 10% copper, it weighs 8.359 grams and has a diameter of 21.6mm. The obverse side of the coin portrays a Native American chief in a full headdress, symbolizing the cultural diversity and heritage of the United States. Surrounding the chief are thirteen stars representing the original colonies. The reverse showcases a striking eagle perched on a bundle of arrows, accompanied by an olive branch, representing preparedness and peace. Above the eagle, the motto "In God We Trust" is inscribed, while below it, the denomination "5 DOLLARS" is displayed.
