Asahi is a Tokoyo-based refinery which also operates facilities in the United States, Mexico, Canada, and Chile and has been around since 1952. In 2014, Asahi Refining acquired the Johnson Matthey Salt Lake City operations and greatly enhanced their operations. Asahi Refinery uses x-ray fluorescence to test all of its precious metals which allows the technicians to produce products of superior quality.
