2021 Silver American Eagle Philadelphia Mint MS70

The effects of Coronavirus and the COVID-19 Pandemic and the increased demand for Silver have been problematic for the U.S. Mint operations so they once again turned to the Philadelphia Mint for emergency minting production to help meet market demand.

A total of only 500,000 coins were produced at the Philadelphia Mint - only the second ever emergency issue Philadelphia Silver Eagle produced by the U.S. Mint.

The coins do not feature a mint mark on their face, but are identified by the boxes they were packed in prior to leaving the facility.
