Silver Eagle Anniversary Sets

The official silver coin of the United States is the Silver American Eagle. The coin features the Walking Liberty design by Adolph A. Weinman on the front and an eagle designed by mint engraver John Mercanti on the reverse. The coins were first minted in 1986.

In 2006, the U.S. Mint released the 20th Anniversary 3-Coin Set, which included a Proof, Reverse Proof and Mint State coin. These are some of the rarest Silver Eagles on the market today and remain a prize for all collectors and investors in American silver coins.

In 2011, the U.S. Mint released the 25th Anniversary 5-Coin Set, which includes 5 different versions of the coin. When the coins were first released by the Mint, the organization's official website crashed and hundreds of customers complained when their orders did not get processed.

Fun Fact

The Walking Liberty design on the front of the coins is the same that was used on the half-dollar coin. It was such a classic that it was revived for use on the Silver Eagle years later.

Investment Grade Coins

Certified coins perfect "70" condition are considered actual "museum quality." With their beautiful finish, flawless condition and rarity, they are preferred by both collectors and investors. Since they are true collectibles, they are not as subject to the ups and downs of the commodities market, which has made their value more stable over time than silver bullion alone. The U.S. Gold Bureau recommends these coins as a long-term store of value, to help protect your portfolio from turbulent economic times.
