In general, as a group, the 1994 Gold Eagle Proofs are fairly middle of the road and undistinguished within the context of both the series as a whole and within the Silbermann collection. As a group, with a total of 202,279 Proof coins minted, they rank 12th of 18 among the four-coin denomination issues from 1988-2005, with only the $25 Gold Eagle Proof having a total mintage less than 48,172.
